Today was the day that I plunged into Lake Michigan which was 30-something degrees but before you wonder if I have lost my mind it was actually for a great cause. The Special Olympics! We were blessed to have so many people come together and raise money in Lucas' name for the Special Olympics - over $2000 to be exact. Lucas and dad were some of the many cheering on over 1,000 of us plungers on from the sideline. What an amazing day!
